Step into the Victoria Concert Hall this October to hear award-winning organist Joseph Nolan play haunting classics on the Klais Pipe Organ, including Bach’s famous “Toccata” (BWV565) and Saint-Saëns’s Danse Macabre.
Acclaimed Singaporean light painter Lawrence Koh, whose performances over the past 15 years have entertained a multitude of dignitaries in Singapore and overseas, joins Nolan on stage for Reubke's Sonata on the 94th Psalm. Told in mesmerising light painting, Lawrence Koh has specially crafted a story of good vs evil in his unique interpretation of this masterpiece, one of the finest examples of programmatic music in the organ repertoire.
Organ exhibition at the Stalls Foyer on Level 2: 6:30pm - 6:45pm; 8:30pm - 9pm. Learn more about the pipe organ through various exhibitions and demonstrations! Admission is free to public.
